The administration section provides access to various setup options including Employees, Users Accounts, Vendors and Services (see below).

The Services Setup screen allows you to define a service one time and then use it as much as desired in the Units (Equipment) screen.  You define the service scheduling, category, etc.  Every service can include comprehensive notes for instructions as detailed as you want to make them (see below).

Service notes carry over to the work order and can be as comprehensive as you wish to make them.  Below is an example.

At the heart of ExpressMaintenance is the Units (Equipment) screen. This powerful screen allows you to track virtually any type of information about your equipment. Data is well organized under subject tabs. You’ll discover that tracking maintenance on all types of equipment is possible.  However, you can disable unused tabs and they will not even appear if desired. Below is the Units screen with the Services (PMs) tab selected.
Unit (Equipment) services are inserted under the Services (PMs) tab. Users simply select from the services you setup and apply the correct period and interval. After that, ExpressMaintenance does the work by letting you know when services are due and creating work orders.
Other tabs allow you store comprehensive information about your equipment including links to other files and attachments to other equipment.
Work orders can be created manually or automatically from the PM Service Overview screen or from ExpressRequest. Most work orders are generated from PMs that are due on equipment. PMs are viewed in the Service Overview screen (shown below). Just a few clicks of the mouse and work orders are created and printed for your technicians.
When work orders are first created, they have a status of Scheduled.  Once completed all information is saved in the work orders and in the equipment maintenance history.
Work orders can be printed or emailed to the applicable people. Work order formats can be completely customized. Below are examples of a work order worksheet and a completed work order as well as a complex work order worksheet.
ExpressMaintenance allows you to track all the information you want for Parts inventory including manuals, graphics, specifications and vendor information. Below is a screen shot of the main parts screen. The tabs across the bottom provide access to additional data.
The screen below allows instant access to parts inventory to see what has been received and consumed.
The Parts Re-Ordering screen shows what parts need to be order and instantly creates purchase orders if desired.
Parts can be received using bar code readers or by entering receiving data manually.
The Purchase Order section allow you to enter POs or RFQs for parts, equipment, supplies, etc. Each PO can contain unlimited detail items.
Purchase Orders can be received by using the PO Closing screen or when receiving parts inventory.
Without a doubt, one of the most powerful features of ExpressMaintenance is the built-in Report Builder. Though ExpressMaintenance comes with 122 predefined reports, users have the ability to alter any existing reports as well as design your own reports. While you may find the many reports already included adequate, you will likely come up with a few special reports you want as well.
